Who we are
Mat3D is a martial arts app for exploring and creating positions in 3D. It is operated by Sam Liokumovich (“Mat3D,” “we,” or “us”), who is responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

Information we handle
Positions and athlete settings
The app saves your positions, names, descriptions, collections, joint settings, athlete appearance, and preferences on your device. Saving or editing a position does not automatically upload your library to our servers. These settings describe the virtual athletes you create.
Positions you choose to share
Creating a share link uploads the selected position or collection, including its names, descriptions, athlete names, joint settings, and related pose details. We store this content with a share code and your app account identifier so the link can work. Opening a shared link sends its code to our service; importing a position saves a copy on the recipient’s device.
App account and purchases
The app creates an account identifier for online features without requiring you to enter a name, email address, or password. Authentication credentials are saved on your device to keep that account signed in. Although this is called an anonymous account, its identifier can be linked to shared content and purchases.
When you buy or restore content, we and our payment providers process the account identifier, product and transaction identifiers, purchase status, and purchase history to provide access to your items. A payment provider may also collect billing and contact information during checkout. Mat3D does not receive your full payment card number.
Website and technical information
When you visit the website or use online features, hosting and infrastructure providers receive information such as your IP address, requested URL, request time, browser or app version, device or operating system details, and error information. This supports delivery, troubleshooting, and security. The interactive hand’s joint and color controls run in your browser; those adjustments are not submitted as saved positions.
Messages you send us
If you contact us, we receive your email address, the name provided by your email service, and the message and attachments you choose to send. The Contact us link opens your email app; it does not send a message automatically.
How we use it
We use information to run Mat3D, remember settings, deliver and restore purchases, create and open share links, answer support requests, fix problems, prevent misuse, and meet legal obligations.
Where a legal basis is required, we process information to provide the services you request (performance of a contract), for our legitimate interests in keeping Mat3D reliable and secure and responding to you, and to comply with applicable law. If a feature requires consent, we will ask for it and you can withdraw it.
We do not sell your personal information or share it for advertising across other companies’ apps or websites. We do not use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Cookies and local storage
The Mat3D website does not set advertising cookies or use marketing tracking pixels. Your browser may cache website and demo files. The app stores saved content, preferences, authentication credentials, and purchase access information locally so its features can work across sessions.
You can manage website storage in your browser settings and app data through your device settings. Clearing that storage can remove saved preferences or access to an anonymous account. Payment and app store pages you visit have their own cookie and storage practices.
How long we keep it
- Local content: saved positions and settings remain on your device until you delete them or clear the relevant app data. Copies in device backups are controlled by your backup settings and provider.
- Online account and shared content: we retain these records to keep your account, purchase access, and share links working. You can contact us to request deletion. Removing the app or deleting a local pose does not itself delete these server records.
- Purchases: records are kept as needed to deliver and restore items, handle disputes or refunds, and meet accounting and other legal requirements.
- Support and technical records: these are retained as needed to resolve requests, investigate issues, protect the service, and meet legal obligations.
Retention depends on the type of record, the reason it was collected, and any legal requirement to keep it. Information no longer needed for those purposes is deleted or de-identified. Residual copies may remain in backups until they are replaced through the provider’s backup cycle.
Your choices and rights
You can edit or delete positions in your library, change athlete settings, and choose whether to share content or contact us. To request access, correction, a copy, or deletion of information held by Mat3D, email samliokumovich@icloud.com with the subject “Mat3D — Privacy Request.”
Include enough context to locate the records, such as a shared link or purchase reference. Please do not send passwords, authentication tokens, or full card details. We may ask for reasonable verification before acting. Because app accounts do not require an email address, an email alone may not identify your account.
Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to restrict or object to processing, receive portable data, withdraw consent, appeal a decision about a request, or complain to your local data protection authority. We will respond within the period required by applicable law and explain if an exception applies. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Deletion may affect access to shared content or purchases. We cannot remove copies already saved by other people, and records held independently by payment providers may be subject to their own retention requirements.
Security and transfers
We use safeguards designed to protect information, including encrypted connections to online services and access controls. No storage or transmission system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect your device and take care with content you include in share links.
Our service providers operate internationally, so information may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as standard contractual clauses or applicable adequacy decisions. Contact us for information about safeguards relevant to your data.
Children’s privacy
Mat3D is a general audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps to remove it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the app’s features or data practices change. The date at the top shows the latest revision. For material changes, we will provide an additional notice where required by law.
